Welcome to our very first Thrive Outdoors Lifestyle Challenge! We’re calling it “101 Days From Now.” The challenge is to set up and meet your own goals over a 101 day period in order to permanently change or enhance your lifestyle.
101 DFN officially
begins on September 4th, 2013 has officially begun. Your goals are met and, you are in a much better place on December 14th, 2013!
PHASE 1: 9/4-9/13
Your focus during Phase 1 should be on setting goals, preparing your mind, and recruiting a buddy. We are providing help in building training plans, and sharing our ideas on healthy living.
PHASE 2: 9/14-10/13
Phase 2 includes building positive habits, and meeting your short term goals. You are working hard to incorporate new things into your daily life that will ultimately bring you to the summit.
PHASE 3: 10/14-11/13
You can see the top! But, Phase 3 may be the most difficult because some participants feel a plateau in their training. Our support team is key to keep everyone on track to meet their mid term goals.
PHASE 4: 11/14-12/14
The summit push. Your habits are set. You are in the best shape of your life. It’s up to you to see it through to the finish. Now to maintain all the hard work you’ve put in and continue to be the best version of you.
101 DFN is primarily self paced, and accommodates all levels of fitness, health, and ability. Along the way we are setting up “Family Days” where challengers can meet up. Maybe we will go rock climbing, swimming, do some yoga, or maybe share a delicious meal. Not local? No problem. Take our idea and recruit your friends!
Why should you join our challenge?
We want to encourage you to take the first step. Being a part of a team keeps you motivated and provides a built-in support system.
The team, from all different backgrounds and experiences, can share what works for them and what doesn’t. Maybe someone you’d never expect has a sneaky trick up their sleeve! With that in mind, remember that this is a community challenge. We want you… We need you to participate and share your experience.
This is not a fad diet, trendy workout regimen, or balls-to-the-wall boot camp. We will suggest healthy and active lifestyle ideas with the overarching goal to be a healthier and happier person permanently. It’s all about finding what works for you!
